Destroying an ancient monument is equivalent to erasing your own past.. which is the most tragic in my opinion. So much you can learn from our history.. all that history is lost.

The sad part abt. Afghanistan is most of the taliban leadership are from pakistan & graduates of saudi-funded "madrassa" schools, the islamic religious schools almost like Christian seminaries. Most of their graduates end up islamic fanatics. Btw, "taliban means student" in Pashtun.

As an afghan I knew all these facts except for the pig. And also another interesting thing is that the last Jew left Afghanistan when the US pulled out.
