I saw the original show in the 1980's. I enjoyed both the mini series and when it turned into the full series. I did notice some changes, but still enjoyed the story.

I was a big fan of the series in 1983 and 1984. The the tv series in 1985. Thank you for informing us about the death of Ms. Dunne. I was not aware of that 😢

I hated how the first mini-series ended on a dumb open-ended cliffhanger. I hated the second mini-series ending because the solution was so dumb. But it's only the endings I hated. I LOVED everything else about this amazing story. It really was appointment tv before that was a thing.
