Hello. I currently have a lawyer, and my insurance is trying to deduct money from my total loss because they claimed thet the body shop charged excessive storage, towing fees. Now they my insurance want me to also pay for that. My insurance company has already paid the fees and picked up ny vehicle on March 11th they told my lawyers office that they want to take $8000 from my total loss.. i agree the fees from the body shop were higher than high way patrol and police storage fees but not higher than the market value in an expensive city (Hollywood) my lawyers office told me they were almost done and would update me less than a week but a week later said they dont know how much longer I'll take.. what are your thoughts? Its been over a month since my insurance picked up my vehicle...
