I never use Screen Protectors. My 2yr old iPhone 8+ is like new. I never drop my phones, put in pockets, etc. I hold my phones like a baby. My Note 10+ has no screen protector & I'm enjoying this beautiful display

I removed the pre-installed screen protector of my s10+ and used it for 4 months, i already see some light scratched though i carry my phone carefully, i never dropped it and i never let other people use it for a long time. Scratches annoys me even if it's just minor ones. So i bought screen protector last week, i cant take the damage anymore.

I've never used a screen protector in my life and have never managed to get any scratches on my phone besides cracking a screen once from dropping it. But that was because I wasn't using a case, the screen protector wouldn't have helped it there. Yet every time I've bought a used phone it looks like it was strapped to the the grill of a Mad Max guzzoline tanker for the past 3 years. Like WTH guys. Don't treat your phone like an animal and it won't get scratched. Even keys in your pocket won't scratch the screen.

Most of those scratches are not micro scratches.

It works on a iPhone that has a rather flat screen but try to apply a screen protector to a OnePlus 7T Pro. Impossible.

my screens have light scratching but it never bothers me as the scratches are unnoticable when the s10's oled display is on

the best way to protect your screen is to use a wallet style padded case. I never bother with screen protectors, because a padded wallet style case makes it almost impossible for the screen to be scratched.

I still prefer the old school film screen protector - way thinner than tempered glass. My goal is to minimize scratches, not bother much about breaking it 😅

Toothpaste....Lol, ,,You do know you must rub and agitate the toothpaste, you are actually sanding the surface ever so slightly. Used to use it on model windshields and watch crystals to remove scratches . Kinda like restoring a cars dulled headlamp cover.... It's not magically going to remove scratches just pasted on there even if you gave it 100 years

I’m glad you made this video, I literally was about to take my glass screen protector off then I seen that unprotected screen 😳

Although I hate screen protectors I think they’re necessary. I have no screen protector on my current iPhone and although there’s no micro-scratches there is however a small nick on the top right of the screen that Mysteriously appeared one day and I’m pretty careful in how I handle my phone. I mean i drop my phone rarely, like one time in the 3 years I’ve owned it.

With toothpaste, u should polish but I have a feeling that it might remove any oleophobic coating . But just putting toothpaste on the phone won’t do anything

The problem with screen protectors is that they crack really wast. I like to use edge-to-edge screen protectors that are a little more expensive, but look much better. But I can’t afford zu buy a new one every time I drop my phone. I‘ve had a bulky case with thick bezels, and even with that one of the edges of the screen protector broke off, even thought the bezels of the case go well over the screen.

Never used screen protector since i bought my phone 2 years ago, only has micro scratch/not really visible scratch, i gave up on using screen protector because i really can't install the screen protector to my phone, either there is a bubble that I can't get out or the screen protector is not straight so i gave up.

The problem with screen protectors is that they either have shitty texture, or that they usually end up scratching more easily, which makes using the phone an unpleasant experience.

I've taken off my screen protector from my iPhone X for 6 months, but I have no regrets. Sure, I get micro scratches, but it doesn't interfere with the texture when I touch it. When I turn on the screen, it doesn't matter anymore. Unless you cracked the screen or something. In which a case will do more justice than a screen protector.

the real reason to use a screen protector is cracking, which is much more noticable and can also be dangerous

If you take good care of your phone like me and use common sense don’t put your phone in the same pocket with your keys or other sharp objects that can scratch it. Take good care of your phone and be careful not to drop it.
