I remember watching a BTS video of the scene where Zoolander and Matilda meet David Duchovney's hand model in the cemetery. Zoolander asks "But why male models?" and the hand model gives this huge diatribe. He finishes and Zoolander again asks, "But why male models?" Apparently that was a legit screw up, as Stiller lost his place. Duchovney was just good enough to ad-lib and keep it going and that was the take that made it in to the film.

No shit there I was... On my first deployment in 2002, and I watched Zoolander and became hooked on Stiler's comedy films as a result. Comedy in dark places... Between this one and Team America (on a later deployment...), laughter is the best anti-depressant in such places. So, the tragedy wasn't all overshadowing despite the financial numbers and ticket sales...

I care nothing about fashion. Yet this is one of my favorite comedies all time. Even though he is stupid successful, I still do not think Ben Stiller gets enough respect for how great he was and is.
