You said you have to be in a caloric surplus to build muscle. Does that mean you can't build muscle and lose weight at the same time?

If you do over train you have to rest longer as a natural weight lifter. Rest is one of the most neglected parts of weightlifting. If a person does not eat right or rest enough injuries will come and you will not grow
