He should be fired for having the wrong mindset regarding his duties. Anyone who brags about the number of people they've killed in the line of duty should have NO position of authority. He shouldn't be a parking meter maid, let alone a police chief. Telling the guy he'd have his back for cold blooded killing is pretty disturbing too.

About the racial slurs ... agreed. Too comfortable ... they've obviously had these conversations before and it's the least disturbing thing about this. Of course, that's where the focus will be.

Wow. I’m not for the whole police reform thing, and i am 100% back the blue, but idiots like these guys need to be sought out and not only fired but investigated and charged for crimes if necessary.

In 1976 I was volunteering at a local PD in Idaho and had wanted to join the police eventually. Part of my volunteer duties was to operate the radio. While I was doing that I overheard two police officers, one state and one city laughing and joking about how they had to shoot a Mexican guy (migrant worker) five times to kill him. I left and never went back. I don't think killing anyone is a laughing matter. If someone thinks killing is funny then I want nothing to do with them or be anywhere near them.
This Cop needs to be investigated for murder.

A police officer must have integrity. Anyone, and this goes for the both of them, who speaks this way while serving as a police officer in any community, must be dismissed as a law enforcement official at any level. They should both be fired and not allowed to be a law enforcement officer at any other precinct to ensure they don't bring their lack of integrity to another community.

As a southerner from the deep South, get rid of that low life. My best friend and I are different races and we are first generation after desegregation. I am a God mother to three beautiful black children and don't want them to grow up with people like that in charge.

The phone conversation with the chief was to draw the chief in to set him up with THIS particular phone conversation letting the chief run his mouth, hence get him on tape and pursuit this claim against him.
