Yes yes agree on all points!! Why there isn't a *load* routine is beyond me...

I've been 3D printing for years, I've worked with many printers from many different manufacturers including Creality and Prusa and FLSun, and I stand firmly by the statement that these are the best non-industrial-scale 3D printers out there. Nothing else comes close. They print more quickly and more cleanly than any other printer I've used that's not a Voron. The company is indeed fantastic at incorporating community feedback and building out customer tools for resolving failed prints.

And yet there's this outright venom and hostility from the 3D printing community toward Bambu devices. I've been called a shill, they've alleged that Bambu pays everyone who says good things about them, and they swear up and down that "there's no such thing as a turnkey / plug-and-play 3D printer." There's this odd stubbornness to detach from the cheap-and-mediocre 3D printers that require excessive adjustment and prayers at the altar to print right. It's bizarre and frustrating gatekeeping, as if they refuse to add anyone to their "trusted manufacturers" list after Creality and Prusa dominated the market.

My X1C with 2 AMS are amazing. Sure growing pains, but considering the variables and complications of the tasks we ask of it, it’s just better than any other printers I’ve owned. Plus the support people have given me caring personal responses. A+ in my book.

Ahhh I have a video coming out tomorrow that was gonna "reveal" a few of these things, but good job ;) You beat me to it lol

Thank you so much for being so active in the community on Facebook and Discord. Really helps out the rest of us.

If the black dust is actually coming from carbon rods, it might not be to good on the lungs.
Carbon nanotubes (not the same) result in similar lung damage as asbestos in studies.
Any hard to break down fibres with similar dimension as asbestos can cause similar damage…
Just felt the urge to mention it. ✌️

My biggest issues are with the AMS. However I love the prints coming off of this. I did not know they made it that I can send prints to the SD card now. That makes me happy.

Thank you for the update! Just one thing... I haven't found review or update of anyone who's printed a duo-tone (or two color) print and weighed the purge strings and the purge tower, along with the printed object (including the supports), to get a ratio of waste to product. I know supports are considered waste material but we would get the same amount of support waste on other machines. Eventually we could work our way down to what type of support delivers the best benefit to cost ratio later on.

As we move forward with being a more "green" society, we in the printing community need to be aware of our waste, too. But then again, the more people we have looking into this, and as Bambu Lab as been really responsive so far with making changes and updates, we - and Bambu Lab - could be on the forefront of recognizing and mitigation waste before it has time to become a problem. And whatever gains we make here could be shared with other printer companies. Thanks again for the update.

I have been enjoying my bambu X1C with the AMS, coming from a printer giving me allot of issues is amazing how good it is.

I just got my first X1C with AMS and I'm in love. I have 5 other printers (3 work) and I think I need to look into donating those to someone starting out. This thing is just a JUGGERNAUT like you said.

Regarding loading the filament, you only need to hit the button to extrude once until it grips the filament. When a job starts, it extrudes enough to get it flowing from the nozzle just fine.

When loading filament for a replacement mid-print, though, I did have to purge out some filament myself as the printer didn’t do that itself.

Thank you for bringing up the switching of filaments, such a basic feature, i was scratching my head trying to figure it out, i thought for sure i was missing something.

Fantastic video as always! Definitely along for the ride with this one. I have 1 X1CC and 2 P1P and there's definitely growing pains but that's what you get with a gen 1 product. given all the problems I've previously dealt with on past printers this isn't something out of the normal. I'm glad to see they're taking all the feedback as seriously as they are and I'm excited to see how it all evolves.

My modification to the cool plate is to sand it down with 80 grit and then use glue stick makes it easy to remove and sticks good still too.

I love mine. It's everything I hoped for when I imagined 3D printers years ago. Except for the waste.

Just dealt with the main board fan issue myself. Contacted support for another one, but a temp fix is just pull out the fan, and push the fan blades into the housing more, as I think their bearings go bad.

I think something to also note is i have had ALMOST NO ISSUES with silk on the x1 carbon ams. On my elegoos i'd have constant issues with perfection but these seem to print them perfect almost always which blows my mind.

I've been loving my X1 since the Kickstarter finished. Thanks for your thoughts Jessy. I switched to the high temp pei sheets and have never looked back. The only real issue I have with BambuLabs' build plates is those stickers like to bubble when your prints stick a little too well. Easy to fix with a plastic scraper and a few minutes of time, but I still get angry every time I have to get rid of the bubbles.

That stuff looks awesome, people that are negative to others usually are just mad that they can't figure out how to get their machine to work even with help. I love the Facebook groups they are all very supportive.
