My 3D printer ever had that exact build plate. Hated it with a passion. Ended up making a hole in the middle, ordered a replacement that was significantly softer and more flexible

I have original Ender 5. I also have two Ender 3. Ender 5 is a very solid design. I love the z axis bed. 10/10 would recommend over Ender 3.
