It's definitely expensive in terms of filament usage, but someone made an extruder that can actually use plastic pellets instead of filament, cutting material costs significantly. Just an idea 👀

Yesterday i bought elegoo neptune 3 Plus and i am soo happy with it. - it's cheap, quality is amazing, and it's beautifull. Elegoo is one of the best 3D printers maker

Funny thing is, reviews of it say that it is more trouble than it is worth. Doesn't work most of the time and pulls more than 15 amps from the wall.

Every time I see someone talking about "Big 3D Printers" I get a little snarky feeling. For a few years I was working with the Filament Innovations Icarus printer, which could fit THIS in its print bed. The small nozzle we had was 1.2mm in diameter.

Honestly the furniture idea is nice. You could fiberglass or epoxy over it for durability and finish. It would look great!
