My dad once built a big wooden box with over 200 screws (different sizes and heads) and gave it as a present to a family friend. Some of the screws didn't connect to anything. It took half an hour to open it, inside was a book on wood working. Everyone had fun with that and that's the greatest gift imo.
He used the book the very next day 😄

It should have really long screws and it should have the type of screws that are used in glasses. If you ever had to repair your glasses you know the struggle.
