She made a ton of videos but the value/knowledge she got from making so many is still going to serve her well making new types of content…no effort is ever a waste

It's rare advice because everyone says "just keep going, grind harder" I drop albums and get 0 views I started to drop beats and got nearly 200, 000 views in year

Bravo Gary ! What we just watched is Gary dispensing one of life's most important keys towards success. Failure is a learning tool. He described it in the most pragmatic way, void of feelings.

My personal experience is that people really skip out on skill acquisition and focus too much on churning out content. I made so much progress when I focused less on making more content and more on making higher quality content. I.e. how to constantly improve and make every aspect of what I make better. Then success becomes inevitable. Monetized on YouTube in 2 months. Average person takes 18 months.

I'm definitely there with her. Its difficult not to dwell on it when you put the work and are very patient, but it's not working. The idea of trying something different may be difficult, but hopefully that can work out for us youtubers like this just trying to have a purpose. Nice to see someone dealing with a hard issue and getting some advice from someone high up.

Ok this is one of the few times where his advice is applicable and makes sense "madness is doing the same thing but expecting a different result"

I made 500 + videos and it helped me become a videographer and now I shoot music videos and brand videos thanks to the grind on YouTube

Exactly. I had to look into getting marketing assistance as well as researching how to repurpose it into valuable content by learning Instagram/TikTok and other stuff. Analytics have increased no lie 10000 percent in less than 2 weeks and I have been trying for 2 years
