Good thing I was never distracted by my phone during high school. I used a clam shell back then even though everyone was using iPhone and smart phones.

a thing I've learned over the years is to listen to lectures attentively. When I actually understand something, I'm excited to do my homework, because I know I'll get it right, since I know how to do it now.
