Feels kinda hypocritical to turn him in while I’ve been using crucio and imperio on every enemy i come across up to this point

Sebastian was such a well written character. His slow descent from charismatic friend to a person corrupted by the dark arts, and back again! Superb writing from the team

I loved the moment Anne appeared, weakened by years of suffering and still incarcerated all Inferi as if she knew a lvl-500 fire spell.

This was far more interesting than the main story

Sebastian: „Let’s speak again soon.“

Also Sebastian: Never speaks to us again if we see him in Hogwarts

Ominis Gaunt is such a nice character, I really like him. And thats something when you realise that Voldemorts mother was also a Gaunt...

Me: That’s awful I can’t believe what’s become of him.
My brain: I can fix him.

Sebastian didn't snitch on me in that library so I can't snitch on him now that's bro code.

It seems better not to betray Sebastian. Incarceration in the Wizarding World is a fate worse than death (Azkaban, Saint Mungo's, etc) compared to the Muggle World.

Sebastian: I didn't mean it...
Also Sebastian: You have to mean it for an unforgivable curse to work.

"He deserves to be punished. He brought all of this upon himself"

I finished the Hufflepuff quest line and saw how bad Azkaban is, Sebastian is misguided but I don't think he deserved to be sent there so I decided to let him go. I also agreed that the fact Anne will never forgive him is punishment enough cause how much he loves her.
When you return to Anne's house after you decided to not turn him in, Anne will be gone and she left a letter to Sebastian about how she need to get away from the place for awhile. She also said she will always loves him but she don't think she can ever forgive him. You can also see the uncle tombstone next to the house as well. And if you talk to the shopkeeper in the area, he will says that Solomon "died in his sleep" if you didn't turn Sebastian in.

I can't say I had a huge moral dilemma. Solomon was using lethal spells against two students who should be about 15 to 16 years old, and the spells I used in response were just as lethal as Sebastian's. They were just 'forgivable'. Essentially it comes down to Sebastian being punished not for the death of his uncle, but for the spell he used, which seems insane. If the game had allowed it, and Sebastian had not cast his killing curse, my character would have finished him. When an ex-Auror is casting columns of fire at you, you're in a fight to the death, and he wasn't listening to reason despite the PC begging him to stop.

Sebastian brought hope and happiness to his sister, only for Solomon to brutally extinguish it each time and keep her in despair. He even used Anne's pain to guilt Sebastian into compliance, implying that he caused her bought of agony, when he knew that it came to Anne in unpredictable ways and was nothing to do with Sebastian. That's a lousy way to treat people, and just downright nasty.

Sebastian was certainly misguided in a fair bit of what he did, but Solomon was the adult in the room, and grievously mishandled everything.

If he had been compassionate, understanding and more of a guiding figure, he could have navigated a way through the story where Sebastian was still allowed to care for his sister, but guided away from the more perilous routes he wanted to take. Instead he had all the empathy of a rock and constantly pushed Sebastian away by shouting him down until the guy was desperate.

Criticisms can be leveled at Sebastian, but frankly Solomon laid much of the groundwork and pushed Sebastian into doing what he did.

I hope if they add any expansions that we can see him grow and heal and learn how to cope in a healthy manor. He's definitely by far my favorite character and deserves more screen time.

The only good thing about Sebastian is, he's not only a good Slytherin but he's a Slytherin not sprouting the purebloods are superior bullsh-. Ominis is ever the first Gaunt who is a decent human being we've ever met, unlike his relatives who are batsh- crazy.

He wasn’t right for killing his uncle but the uncle was a real pain. He couldn’t just let seb try to save his sister and had to ruin it all. If he had simply let him try, then this wouldn’t have happened

I just wished we would always get 3 dialogue options.
1 Neutral, 1 good and 1 evil option and make it so your choices actually affected the story every step of the way.
Would love to see us taking in the power at the end and getting expelled from Hogwarts OR do what's right and be celebrated as a hero.
Neutral ending could be about you not being able to make a decision, but not be blamed or celebrated. Just being treated as a normal student.

Edit: Would also love to be able to disagree more with Sebastian's actions and side with Ominis Gaunt instead.
Forming a friendship with him instead and try to find a different route to help Anne alongside Ominis or something.

We need, I need to continue Sebastian's story. We want to see how he settles things with his sister, be it from turning him in or not. Out of all the side character story Sebastian appeals the most, then Poppy.
