If you want to fix foot turning out try strengthening your tibias anterior muscle as this muscle assists in keeping the ankle and foot straight.

Internal Hip Rotation exercises + Strenghtening of the Glute Medius + Strenghtening and Stretching the Hip Flexors + Ankle related exercises (in particular Dorsi Flexion) the most important thing is to learn how your hips and feet function together to put less stress on the knees, which unilateral exercises like the single-leg box squats are suitable for issues like anterior pelvic tilt, winging shoulder blades and forward head posture (-> t-spine and c-spine) can also contribute to externally rotated feet.

I strengthened my tibialis in the gym with kettlebellew I no longer have anterior pelvic tilt once my tibialis got strong my weight distributed evenly throughout foot and than the back of my pelvis dropped down bit by bit now I’m in neutral pelvic position

So good content but what worries me is you don’t mention hip anatomy such as ante version vs retroversion. Without knowing this first you may be correcting something which is natural to that persons bio mechanics.

In my first year in track and field my coach helped me fix this same problem by making me walk in a straight line every single day.

Ive been walking with the right foot pointing outward for 40 years and someone just pointed it out while on a walk since i hadnt even realised. I hope this excersize can correct this issue as i dont want issues in the future.

Overactive: lateral gastrocnemius, short head bicep femoris, TFL.

Under active: medial gastrocnemius, medial hamstring, glutes.

I do not believe feet out is bad in fact i think many populations do this and its perfectly normal.

Oh my God thats me. I know its not only the foot but my pelvic. My right leg goes outward when I walk even when I lay down. I was just doing rotations on my ankle and pulling up straight. Thanks for sharing this. I will give a try.

Hi, my tibialis anterior always pains when I walk. Idk if it actually is the tibialis anterior but the front side of my leg 🦵 below the knee pains when I walk.

To give you an idea of how I walk is small steps very quickly and awkwardly, and I do have duck feet posture.

Interesting video, but I am thinking my foot problems may also be related to hip rotation - there are a lot of stretches to improve external hip rotation (butterfly, 90-90, pigeon) but I have never seen many stretches to improve internal hip rotation, which I think is causing my foot problems. Thx again for your great videos

Playing the piano, guitar or whatever instrument is perfect as you initially keep the tempo with the feet hitting the ground so... In fact, if I play the piano keeping the tempo with the left feet my tibialis anterior is on faiah
