Was considering the 12.9, but your video made me change to the Nintendo switch. Thanks 🙏🏻 lol

As an architect and PhD student who loves to do digital drawing as a hobby, I just bought the 11 inch one for note taking, article reading, mobile drawing device, as well as light typing.
Reason:
1. Ipad is not my main device. I do 3d modelling, simulation, etc on my laptop. I can't do those on ipad.
2. Psychology. If the sizes determine my decision to take it out in public or not, then the more portable it is, the better. I heard some people do not take their 12.9 out from the bag since it is rather big for light use.
3. I use it to read article while laying down. The size is perfect for me to read and highlight important parts.
4. For drawing, it is even larger than my usual book I used to carry. I own a cintiq pro for drawing and it works great on the table. So I needed something more mobile.

For above reasons, I am really happy with my decision.

I have the 11" iPad Pro with the M2 chip and I use it for business. I did not want something larger than the screen of my Macbook Air. This video definitely will assist someone who's interested in purchasing an iPad Pro 11". I have smaller hands and did not want something too large.

Was considering the 12.9, but your video made me change that to the 11. Thank you for asking the right questions! 🙂

This was an incredibly helpful video. My use will differ from yours with much less typing and this really helped me decide on the smaller 11” iPad when I was really pulled toward the larger one initially. I already have a laptop and you helped me realize that I was not trying to replace it but was, rather, trying to fill the niche between than and my phone. Thank you!

Very helpful! I, too, was considering the 12.9, but have now decided on the 11. Thanks!

Thanks Chris. Your story makes me lean toward the 11 inch iPad Pro. I do type a lot, but I have very slim hands, so have no problems with a smaller keyboard. A point is also the use, I see the 12.6 tilting from your lap.. for me that is a major point of inconvenience, as one of the uses is the fact that the ipad will be on my lap very often. I don’t fly, so there’s no point. The only thing that would make me going for the 12.6 is using a video handling program, that is where I am often occupied with.
But thanks for posing the right questions, it really helps the decision

I had the 12.9 M1 iPad Pro and I would always use it with the Magic Keyboard and never really use it without it as a regular iPad for media consumption cause of how big it is. Most of the time I would use my MacBook Pro. I decided to sell my 12.9 iPad Pro and got the 11” M2 iPad Pro to use more like an iPad and as a consumption device and I think it’s just the perfect size for that.

Hands down the 12.9. So much more useful and screen keyboard is large and easy to use. The 11’ felt more like a really big phone. I use the 12.9 in bed all the time. Use pillows for props.

I have big hands, going to try to use it as much as possible as main (home) computer, not really using it outside my own house, so I'll go for the 2024 13 iPad Pro, thanks !

You are absolutely right about price and was going for the 12.9 but after the video am going for the 11. I have a main gaming PC and need something portable. You talked about weight which made me think about taking pictures, video, and short animations using AI plus AR. I liked adding the external devices like monitors, keyboard, and mouse when needed. You nailed it and yes, this was a tough decision due to the differences screens on both.

12.9 is too much large for mobility. It goes to Macbook level in this point. Tablets should be stand as tablet. That is what most of people want. 11 inch is a great tablet standart.

That's a really well made video, i won't even be buying in the near future till any of them get some kind of a discount but watched this video so that i am always ready for a miracle to happen. The info is laid out beautifully with focusing on topics that actually do matter and could be noticed by an average user/student. Thx for this!

I used to have a 12.9 inch, but after it got robbed, I’m still in hope for it to be back to me. Although I was a little bit unsure whether 11 inch will seem small to be after my experience with 12.9, I guess I will buy 11inch anyways.

11-inch is a perfect tablet size and a decent keyboard experience. I can see 12.9 inch being better for students taking notes. Since a have powerful PC, I’d get the 11-inch. 12.9 is too big as a tablet.
