To anyone wondering Looking at them in portrait mode, the iPad 12.9 is wider than A4 by about 0.49 cm but it is roughly 1.6-1.7 cm shorter than A4 so overall they are extremely close in size :), 12.9 is effectively A4. The 11 is 4.9 cm shorter than A4 and 3.1-3.2 cm more narrow than A4 so it is slightly smaller than B5 and a bit bigger than A5 :) Hope that helps, I was curious and just wanted to share.

What people don’t realize is that the dimensions of the 12.9 iPad is about the same dimensions of a piece of paper 8.5” x 11”. The reviewer here just makes the iPad look big

11" looks cuter.
More portable, easy to take notes and study books.
But one of the most important reason im getting it is for drawing.
I'm still so confused.

I went with the 11", 256gb WiFi model and I don't regret it. Screen size is perfect for me and it's an absolute beast.

The 12.9" screen real estate is hard to dismiss for work once you've got it...with a proper keyboard that is. Its so much more immersive.

I think the 11 inch is more for traveling, business and mobility. the 12, 9 inch more for using at home and using like a notebook.

I’ve had the 12.9” for a few months now and I love it. Especially since I just started drawing. It’s nice. I edit videos and pictures also use good notes for my digital budgeting. BUT I don’t feel comfortable taking it out, it’s so big it’s and eye catcher. It also don’t fit in my everyday bag, so when I bring it I always have to hold it. Or bring another bag. It’s portable, but it depends on what’s portable to you, and the type of bag you carry etc. I’m about to sell it and go with an 11” . I can still draw, edit etc. but I’ll be able to take it more places effortlessly. Oh also I got the 12.9 in the first place to replace my old laptop, but I may get another laptop in the future or a desktop so the 11” will be fine. ❤️

Far easier to have a webpage open and notes on the side with the 12.9. As a consumption device I sometimes wish I had the 11 but the minute I use my iPad for study, I’m happy I went 12.9

Definitely 12.9”, it has all the benefits of the 11”, but with a more sufficient size, but still convenient to hold. I just received my 12.9” - impeccable!

I would have liked to see a comparison to normal A4 paper for size, writing on both of them in comparison and how they lay on the table with the giant camera bump in the back with no protector on. all of this is missing, please make another video considering usage for uni and to annotate lecture slides and goodnotes for writing

I just preordered the new 12.9 and this just made me so happy I did… i needed to see the side by side by side comparison lol
