How many times are we going to watch the exact same video by different creators who come to exact same conclusions? 🤣🤣

At the end the most important question is how you use your iPad. If you know you will use the iPad most of the time on the desk, then 12.9“ is the way to go but if you love holding your iPad while using it, the 11“ is the best size.

I used to have an older 12.9 iPad Pro 2017 and even without the bezels, 12.9 is just way to big for a portable device imo.
I thought drawing would be more comfortable on a bigger screen, but it feels a lot nicer to actually be able to comfortably hold your iPad while drawing, especially since I love drawing while laying on my bed rather than sitting at a desk.
I am a lot happier with my 11" iPad Pro, it's less tedious to work with it.

I agree. The 11inch form factor is the perfect size for a tablet. At 13 inch, it’s more comfortable to use a MacBook Air or pro.

For me, a simple way to choose between the two is deciding if the iPad will be your laptop replacement/main device or a secondary device. As a secondary device, the 11 inch is great since you have other devices that are larger in size. But the 13 inch is good for those who will only use the iPad as their laptop and as their only device.

I love the portability of the 11”. I can live without the mini led and can still do everything I need (procreate, LumaFusion, bit of music making etc). Perfect for me.

if you're more practical-minded and want a tablet feel, absolutely get the 11"
if you're more artsy fartsy and want a touchscreen computer monitor, get the 12.9"

A LOT of different opinions and that is really the best thing about the video

12.9 is amazing for my study workflow as I can use it as a laptop at uni, as a second display at home, and as a notebook for writing notes and pdf viewing (I found 11 was too small for me, and the 12.9 felt like a full A4 notebook). I love a generous display

I think Fernando and Saran’s points are right on the money. I wasn’t looking to fully replace my laptop as there are some tasks that just work better on macOS. That said, I wanted significantly more portability for taking it out and about or on trips without feeling burdened by it. That swayed my decision to go with the 11. As I do a lot of work with photo editing, I was concerned about not having the “top of the line” display at first, but honestly I’m pretty blown away at how good this 11 inch one looks. It is still very clearly a premium display. Very happy with it!

I prefer the 12.9 inch IPAD Pro mainly for the eyes when viewing. Being 74 years old now, my eyes are still good, but I like to view computer screens which are larger (less strain on eyes). I know I can tie the IPAD Pro to my 2nd Ext 40 inch LCD TV Screen via HDMI, but still also prefer the larger IPAD screen when not at home.

Not worried about physical size or weight if I need to carry the device around.

With all that said above, everyone will have their own preference, so what ever fits your boat, pick that one you like.

Take care.

Team 12.9” for the extra space for notes, editing, and just for having a full sized keyboard on screen and for cases

My opinion is you should only get the 12.9" if you are after a laptop replacement. Yeah okay the XDR display too. Otherwise, if you want an iPad Pro to replace your existing/previous iPad that is roughly the same size, get the 11".

The 12.9 inch is brilliant for having my lectures and Goodnotes split screen. The 11 inch would have been too small, for sure.

It’s really important to view the two in person. I was trying to decide which one I wanted for days looking at online stats. It took me five seconds once I got to see the two side by side to know exactly which one I needed. The 12.9 is, in my opinion, an absolute must for anyone who intends to use it for serious creative work. Anything smaller and you’re struggling to see what you’re doing.

Team 12.9 : We don't care about money, we just need one device.
Team 11 : We have a laptop, we use it along we the macbook, so we don't need bigger screen.. Also we save some cash.. 😃

TLDR: If you are using single device go for 12.9, else 11 would be best.

If only the 11inch have the XDR display.... You could charge $100 more for the 11" XDR and still be worth for those who don't need a laptop size screen.

Team 11" since ipad won't really replace the laptop. 11" would be more desirable alongside with the laptop

12.9 for real estate. Getting older I want to be able to use it without my glasses. This is be my one and only tablet. This is be my one and only apple device. Most people say apple is easier to use, I find it frustrating over windows and Android.
I find the conversation about how much it weighs interesting. I carry a 17.3 laptop on the bus and don't think it's heavy. Bus life.
