My experience has been that they routinely change history to justify their actions. What makes this so hard to deal with, in my case, is that they believe, whole heartedly, their version of the truth. There’s no arguing with someone like that. It’s totally screwed my head because I have this overwhelming need to resolve things. Can’t do that with a narcissist. 😔🤷🏻‍♀️

First time I met one who turned out to be the biggest narcist I ever meant. They immediately asked me to work on their fence...kinda of threw me off wondering if they were seriously and didn't answer yes or no....but because I didn't say yes, that narcist immediately hated my guts and did what ever they could to undermine me. Luckily didn't take too long for them to completely step over the line and haven't had any contact with them since.

I've just went no contact with my narc mother. Her lying and manipulation is something I've lived with for 40 years. She has now involved my children and I will not stand for it. I have no family left but I'd rather be on my own than keep living that way 💔

Thanks for the reminder. After someone this week in Edmonton, Alberta Canada has added the worst imaginable possible kind of 'graffiti' onto a Wayne Gretsky statue here in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.
