Moral of the story: always look at the menu before ordering and make a note if exactly what the total price should be for the items you're ordering. Good video - a lot of scammers out there targeting travellers.

This is 'HOW TO GET SCAMMED' not how NOT to get scammed.

The Swiss guy warned them.

To be fair, they did not get scammed. They never asked for a menu, nor asked how much since there were no menus. They never showed how the restaurant would react, had they asked for menus or pricing.

They paid a high price for cheap food. Over priced is not a scam. Is a $10 hot dog at Yankee Stadium a scam? No.

Tourist areas, sports gonna PAY.

If you cannot afford the high price food, don't take an expensive European trip.

Those things need to be factored into your budget.

Bottom line-- There was no scam, and this is why they did not show how to 'avoid' a scam in this video.
