Yet, that may be a big ol' LIE! That's right, Ronald McDonald may not be a clown selling some of our favorite indulgent quick serve foods. In fact, McDonald's may be in a completely different business all together. What is that business? You'll have to watch to find out!

I went for an interview at McDs once. The guy asked me “what is McDonald’s?” To which I replied “it’s a fast food chain of restaurants”.

He sighed at me, apparently the answer he wanted was “one of the top charitable donating companies worldwide.” Like how was I supposed to know that’s the answer he wanted?

Finance grad here, this simple accounting explanation was done better and more interesting than my day 1 accounting class.
