I always see people complaining the Murphy bed is not really saving space because it takes up the same amount of tiles as a normal bed, always forgetting it also doubles as a sofa so you are technically saving three tiles because you don't have to buy a sofa

Tiny living is no doubt the most op pack of the sims 4, the way we can raise skills and relationships is astounding

They definitely could have added an under the stairs bathroom/wetroom. Just a triangle shape object with the same shower animation just with the clothes on. Would be kind of a rabbit hole experience but would have been an awesome feature

For a pack built around 'tiny' living it offered very little in the way of space-saving items. We could have had new ladders, spiral staircases, mini-fridges, all-in-one bathrooms like in TS3... So many missed opportunities to actually allow for tiny living

This pack would have been perfect to include an all-in-one bathroom like they have in the Sims 3!

Nah. I love the tiny living furniture. Nice modern look with the bright blue providing nice highlight colors.

I love the idea of the cross pack compatibility to make over a house into a tiny home. Definitely adding that to my personal challenges while playing!

I never considered that mini fridges and cabinet mounted microwaves would have been perfect for this pack!
This is my favorite pack bc the challenge of making a decent looking microhome is my favorite

Tiny Living is one of my fav packs and have a very Scandinavien vibe to it. Thou murphy beds are not very Scandinavien, well I've never seen any real life. We got pullout couches, yet no murphy beds.

I'd say, though, for me, since it's a pack about BUILDING the very limited and meh build/buy items are a big problem... I'd want to have a couple more styles of furniture, bunk beds and mezzanines... Otherwise I'm gonna make one or two tiny houses and forget about it forever because I'd feel like I'm making the same house over and over.

Although I never use the murphy beds i do use alot of items all the time, like the paintings, the side candle/plant combo, the toilet, the sink and couple other items. And when I say all the time i mean every build has at least one or more of these items.

4:38 Murphy beds are actually kinda bugged, and their failure rate is way too high! It's because the function for failing objects makes them more likely to fail the longer they're in use, and a bed gets several hours of use a day. (I believe sitting on it as a sofa also counts as use).

It doesn't really show up when you're first playing with it, since it builds over time, but they're basically ticking time bombs

the murphy bed gave me no warning and just killed one of my sims moms recently during high school years. low key was traumatized XD

"The death rate is not high" 💀💀 my whole family was killed twice by a Murphy bed :( that's why I don't use it anymore

I really want mounted microwaves honestly. I’ve seen many homes irl with a mounted microwave above the stove, including my own house.

My major complaint with tiny living is actually not the options they gave. It's the fact I have to go and download a mod for a combination bathroom, sink/toilet + small shower or use an outhouse rather than the return of the All in One bathroom from sims 3 to help with space. If I didn't have the woohoo bush I would not have a lot of the freedom I would want with it. Particularly since the best benefits are with the micro home.

Also what's with no attempts to make tiny homes work with family gameplay? I find it an added level of fun challenge and could you imagine if they had actually gone with "How to fit a toy box, a small toddler bed and a toddler toilet in a tiny house." I like giving my sims hell yes by giving them toddlers in tiny homes. One of those poor unfortunate souls had twins. I mean I can increase it to the max tiny house size... But they didn't even try any other combination objects for you doing stupid tetris crap with your sims?

Edit: I do really really enjoy this pack gameplay wise as you can tell though.

Tiny Living is one of my favorite stuff packs (I alternate between Tiny Living and Paranormal as my favorite stuff packs), and I agree with your criticisms about the build/buy. Even though I personally get a lot of use out of it, I do really only use the light wood tones, the blacks, and the whites in this set. I don't really like the mismatched wooden set or the reddish woods, just not my cup o tea.

So, if anyone has University, I almost exclusively make my sims complete their degrees from home in a micro home. They get their skills up super fast, and they can cook. And also, they're never late for class when they live off campus (with the exception of when I'm not paying attention and lose track of the time in my game). 😂
