In other words, we can't remove the title of sin from a sinful act, but we can create sin based on our heart's intent toward an action.

People that believe morality is subjective will be the first to say God was immoral in the Bible.

The TikToker is a known atheist who intentionally warps scripture to attack Christianity. What a life to have…Great work again Tim!

Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil.

„I can do everything through a verse out of context.“

Your example of murder would fall on dead ears as they already believe murdering children is okay.

This guy's whole account is a testament to the doctrine of total depravity

What a great example of ignoring context. I'm glad you address these things, because, incredibly, they are so common. A lot of young people especially hear these kinds of objections or criticisms and, lacking knowledge and context, are prone to falling for them. Keep up the good work.

I remember a pastor once saying, "A text without context is a pretext" That's what this is; taking a snippet of scripture and taking it out of context.

Oh man, I rolled my eyes so hard when I heard him bring that verse up as a reason for sin not being objective

There's something so incredibly dangerous and foolish to be thinking about sin offending people rather than offending God, foremost.

I refuse to believe that these objections from people ignoring the context are due to ignorance, but that they are due to malice. In order to find such a verse, one would almost certainly have to read the context or at least be aware of it.
They are almost certainly cherry picking these verses on purpose to deceive ignorant people or in order to virtue signal to their tribe. So, for these people, they have no excuse, they're sinning by intending to lie/deceive.

To be a Christian really is to have a great reasoning and wise thinking..Unlike other religions, God of the Bible took the human minds seriously

Back in the late 60s I dated a young lady whose parents raised her to believe going to the theater was a sin. One night I tempted her to go to the movies. We got to the theater parking lot, but she refused. Respecting her wishes, we went bowling. We're still friends, and yes, she now does go to the movies.

romans 14 is about personal convictions, i have personal convictions about playing certain games, listening to secular music, and watching anime. these are all things i consider to be part of my old man and my heart is heavy when i think about going back to such things. this strong feeling that i should not go back and indulge in what my past unsaved self loved causes me to believe its become sin to me. personal convictions can also apply to idols, ive heard some idolize coffee and had coffee become a personal conviction too

The non-believers favorite verse in the Bible is “I can do all things, with a verse taken out of context”. 😂😂😂

This is to say that what is and isn't a sin is additive, not subtractive.

If someone looks hard enough with ulterior motives, such as this guy seems to be doing, they'll always be able to find a verse out of context to help them justify their sinful behavior.
