▬ Video Description ▬
And we are back to discuss our theory in which Bran is the ultimate villain of Game of Thrones, the ultimate evil who used his abilities to orchestrate the entire season 8, made Daenerys go mad, allowed Kings Landing and its 1 million people to burn alive, all so he, the Three-Eyed Raven could end up on the Throne.

I totally agree with you. Bran caused everything! He is the true villain. How else could one explain his two quotes in the end “why do you think I came all this way” and “you were exactly where you were supposed to be”. He played (orchestrated) the game far better than Littlefinger and Varys ever could

I agree wholeheartedly with your belief that Bran is the villain, manipulating events to make himself the king of the six kingdoms - and Sansa queen of of the north. My only quibble is characterizing the Night King as trying to save humanity from Bran. Rather, I think the Night King was also evil, and wanted to reign over Westeros, but recognized Bran as his greatest foe in achieving this goal. And Bran bested him. The others were merely pawns in their game.

Season 8 had bad writing, and Dany’s decent into madness was poorly portrayed, but Bran having orchestrated the whole thing makes a lot of sense. He repeatedly told Sansa and others he could never be lord of anything to throw them off, all while knowing he’d become king. He’s wanted power for a long time, he wants Jamie and Cersei to pay for crippling him for life. He knew what Dany was going to do and he let it happen because he wanted the Lannister twins to die.

Don’t forget Bran also told his “stories” to Tyrion in episode 2 after war council at WF. Thats the only reson Tyrion proposed him for a King. He played them all! Biggest player in GoT

Ending we deserved:
*Ned wakes up at WF*
Seven hells! I had a terrible dream, Cat.

I don’t know if I agree with this theory, but I did have one huge reservation about Bran being named king: if he goes mad it would literally be impossible to usurp him. Even the likes of Tyrion, Varys, and Littlefinger would be unable to plot against someone who could easily witness their treachery from anywhere in the world. To add to that, the previous Three-Eyed Raven existed for hundreds of years (iirc), so, assuming it’d be the same for Bran, you’d have a king who could see anything, anywhere, at any time, AND can’t die naturally. That’s a recipe for a Dark Lord right there. Bran could become a lot like Sauron. Game of Thrones could be a Lord of the Rings prequel.

Remember the days where we all thought Jojen seeing the flame in his hand actually meant something?

I rarely bother with GOT videos anymore, but yours are worth watching, and this is also my feeling - that Bran is the ultimate villain. Whatever gave anyone the idea the Three Eyed Raven was on the side of good rather than evil? Why were the White Walkers so bent on destroying him, and the Children Of the Forest ( the ones that created them)? That’s not Bran, anyway, he is possessed by whatever it is that formerly possessed Brynden Rivers.

How I still wish seeing how the Three Eyed Raven possess minds and enter beings was responsible for Daenerys character to crack and set the city ablaze. The Ice King would have been an enlightened person who foresaw the future and tried to stop this. He was after all a human before he was transformed…
Jon being deported conveniently after his role all would fit to the otherwise horrible scripting of the last season.
It would also open up a possibility for a future season of realisation and retaliation where Jon, king of true North returns just like the Ice King to claim his throne from the true monster.
How I still wish….

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. Starks who died were heroes and the Starks who lived through all the 8 seasons became the villains

If you watch the finale with the idea Bran is the evil mastermind it all clicks. Also the foreshadowed visions he had of kings landing and drogon only cement this theory into the factual domain. The "idea" is actually brilliant and I have no qualms with it at all, but as you pointed out the execution was abysmal.

Imagine 10 seasons and a deep dive into the true evil of the 3ER... It could have been so damn good.

Don't listen to the crows. They ALWAYS lie. bran is 100% the villain. Hands down

Another thing that makes no sense is that white walker looking right in Sam's eyes and letting him live. Unless the 3ER was warging into him at the time. Sam was allowed to live because Sam had the 3ER's work to do in future.

I think D&D were the biggest villains in the series.

I've been saying for years that Bran was the real baddy... Don't trust Bran...

All true—in the context of the bad writing of the show. The stark contradiction between “I can never be the lord of anything” and “Why do you think I came all this way” is evidence of this. Bran might still become king in the books, but the journey to it will be different.

Season 9. Daenerys awakens in a Red temple in Asshai with no memory because she was dead for weeks. Follow her as she makes her was back to being a queen. Drogon lays eggs but dies from poisoning. Etc...

I can’t tell if this is a hidden fact that the writers intended or just bad writing that adds up to look like Bran being evil.

The Three Eyed Raven did all that. But, he is not Bran. He is Bloodraven-still. He now rules the empire with a thousand eyes and one.
