This dude was only in the show for 4 minutes and was immediately one of the most badass characters in the show. GOT was so good 😭

The fact that Rhaegar told the best swordsmen in the world to protect lyanna instead of fight with him shows he really loved her

The look on Ned's face when Ser Arthur's stabbed in the back says it all. He truly feels for his hero. A knight who bested him honourably is then dishonourably killed. Ned must have wished things had turned out differently over the years.

Even though he only had like a couple of lines, the actor playing Ser Arthur Dayne is superb.

I love that guy not just because he’s a great swordsman but he also was a true knight. He was polite and civil, but also extremely brave. Taking on all of them on his own and also didn’t beg for his life
