These healthy date oats bars are sweetened with whole dates only and I'm using tahini instead of oil. Yummy and so easy to make!

That looks delicious but any Tahini is going to contain fats whether made from seeds or nuts or anything, but it’s more than fine to use. Fat and protein are an extremely important part of the diet and pure carbohydrates are not an ideal source of energy since your blood sugar will spike and then crash hard to but add in a little fats and you will be satiated for longer and less likely to unintentionally eat more later. No need to be afraid of a little fats, especially the kind in seeds and nuts when in moderation 👍

So overall, great little power snack for sure 😊

Anyone made these? Mine just fell apart. They didn't really form a structure or anything. After baking, the tahini dough was still soft and the oats weren't set. I followed the recipe exactly. Anyone got advices?

Sugar = sugar. No matter or it comes from dates or processed. It does te same thing to your body.
