The answer is leading with your elbows. Pushing outward is going to overwork your anterior delt which already gets plenty of work from other stuff. Lead with elbows, lean slightly forward and work the side/posterior instead. Nobody looks good with “gorilla” posture shoulders 😂

Lower the weight, easy as that, if you need keeping and momentum to push the weights up, you'll engage other muscles, predominantly upper traps, if your form's strict only delts will work
