Minerals in the water are not about nutrition. It's about osmotic pressure. Osmotic pressure is a real thing. I would be fine with him saying that there is enough particulate matter left in the water so there is no concerned but that's not what he said. He was talking about pure water. People shouldn't drink distilled water because of the effect of osmotic pressure on cells.

Apparently there are preservative chemicals on reverse osmosis membrains that can cause cancer and infertility! I've read that you really need to flush them. But does that really help.

Help: In searching on the lab results for AquaTru I could not find testing and removal for Haloacetic acids (HAA5) Haloacetic acids (HAA9) or cyanide, these are all found in high amounts in my city tap water. I did find all other contaminants specific to my tap water. Thanks for a really good discussion. I understand you cannot cover every detail but would appreciate a response.

Here’s what I know, I drank pure RO for several days once and I felt awful. Restless legs, fast heart beat, palpitations, trouble sleeping etc. Switched back to regular water and I was fine. RO definitely reduces electrolytes in the body.
