I was one of the lucky ones to be given a "round 2" e-mail (as I'm calling it) so I shall have my New Nintendo 3DS some time next week! After that, I will give my Nintendo 3DS XL to my London-residing brother!

i live in the us. im going to get the regular new 3ds when it comes out just based off of the button colors being a throwback to the good ole' snes days. but i must say i hope it comes with a charger. also good business choices by nintendo. release it in japan where they know it will do well, then stir up frenzy in europe with this ambassador edition, and meanwhile everyone in america is salivating over it, im glad nintendo is back to making profits!

anyone that knows or owns a new 3ds, what's the difference between the new and the old 3ds? besides the fact that it have the c stick, change the skin, the graphics are sharper and has faster cpu (which you can download things faster) .  does it mean that the future 3ds games would be playing smoothly on the new 3ds like in 60 fps?

Question if anyone can help out with a detailed or complete answer really appreciate it.. So now that we know that the New 3DS is only coming in the XL version in north america which is where I live.. from the sad news i started doing some research in getting a overseas smaller new 3ds.. now here's where i get a little confused (new to the nintendo family handhelds).. i understand that they are region locked so pal games would work with PAL systems ETC. however how about the shop itself? with me living in north america, can i simply just set my region to that area so it would work so instead of me ordering games & importing them i can just purchase them have a very large SD card to keep my games? thanks.
