I like how they added rubber bumpers on the facing screen of the top, so that the top screen cannot touch the bottom screen surrounding.

When I was younger and Pokemon Platinum has just come out (2009), someone stole it from my cartridge slot while I was playing multiplayer Mario Kart with them (I got it back shortly after though)....
Now that the "New" 3DS has the cartridge on the BOTTOM, things like that are going to be almost impossible (unless you look away from your system for a bit while holding it one handed).

i personally think that the new 3ds is pretty nice! the new C stick can help when playing games such as Monster hunter 4 and the new super smash bros game, the 3D tracking helps when you're far away from the screen, and the customization of the front and back of the system is a really nice touch. the only thing that i cant think of any use for are the ZL and ZR buttons next to the regular L and R buttons, but Nintendo will probably think of a use for them eventually!  I will hopefully be buying the system when it finally comes out in america.
