Supposedly theres 2 different hinges ones that click and ones that dont.
Apparently the ones that dont have click actually have a more stable top screen for some reason

yep everything will go digital, that way 'they' have total control where 'their' stuff goes

S3ISOR I always find it funny on how much you like/dislike the hinges on every 3ds consoles

Great unboxing! I'm still deciding between N3DS or N3DS XL (Didn't manage to get a MM Edition in the UK).

I still have my OG 3DS and XL and I definitely prefer playing on my XL because of the bigger screen and it being more comfortable to hold. But I really do like the faceplates and portability of the N3DS, but not a fan of the colored SNES buttons (Never had a SNES so I don't have any nostalgia for it and it makes the console look less professional IMO). The glossy finish on the XL looks great but it seems like a finger print magnet so that's disappointing.

My question - Is the N3DS' screen big enough? Is it worth swapping over it over the XL to get face-plates + portability?  And how is the super stable 3D?

I had a quick go of a new 3ds and found that the 3D didn't seem as strong as the originals, any opinion on this? Also I noticed a lot of ghosting the new 3ds when 3d was on, is the 3D the same across the two new models?
