For those thinking about the name changes like Jaecheongdaesong—> Seiten Taisei, or Yeoui—> Nyoibo, it’s because God of Highschool is adapted after Havoc in Heaven and Journey to the West, both of which are Chinese legends. All of the original names are Chinese, so Jaecheongdaesong/Seiten Taisei was Qi Tian Da Sheng (齐天大圣) and Nyoibo/Yeoui was Ruyi (如意). So the reason why the names were changed is because both the Korean and the Japanese are direct translations of the Chinese names. I hope this clears up some confusion!

"Seiten Taisei" is the Japanese translation of the Chinese name "Qitian Dasheng" (齊天大聖) which translates to "Equaling Heaven Great Sage, " a title Sun Wukong placed on himself when trying to win the respect of the heavens the second time by force.
