1954 Fender Stratocaster played by Laur Joamets

A fine example of a first-year Stratocaster! Both the neck and body date 6/54. At the bottom of the body cavity sits the original piece of masking tape with "Virginia 6-11-54" which was written during the final assembly of the guitar. The original pickups, which use alnico 3 magnets, are bright and crisp. The electronics are all original. The backplate has been replaced and the neck refretted.

My very first guitar was a well-worn one of these that my dad gave me for Christmas of 1963. Still miss it. Still miss my dad ...

The "Virginia" is the Eric Johnson model inspiration right?

Look at the distance between the saddles ! Wow ! Today something like that will make you skip the guitar. But if it is 145k no problem

I would love to use some of these as background music in my videos. Any way I could get you permission?
