To me, the neck pickup of a strat is the sweetest electric guitar tone out there. That thing sounds amazing.

What i love about these vintage instruments from Fender and Gibson is the fact that when they were made, , , they were not made for the musical applications they eventully went on to being utilized for in the future. Think about the rock music in the 50’s. I dont think they foresaw a Jimi Hendrix using the strat in that manner. Or even an Yngwie? Think about what Clapton did for the Les Paul in the Blues Breakers? That was a revolutionary sound that i do not believe Ted Mcarty and Les Paul were thinking about at the time when the Les Paul was being made. Love that that because of that, these instruments have basically remained the same in design since they were first made back then. We r lucky.

A strat tuned in Eb is like coffee in the morning. Also you wouldn’t believe it’s from ‘54 because the design is so timeless. I love it.
