OMG - you made this digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital sound conversion so easy I was flabbergasted! This is the exact video I needed to convert my friend's 65-in Phillips TV digital audio using a tosslink cable into conversion box as RCA analog to input into a 20+ year old Sony amp, that's completely analog.

Thank you for this video. I have a pioneer receiver and just bought a new Samsung Smart TV. I can't get sound out of my pioneer home theatre system. I have the red and white cables. Do I need to plug them into the TV in ports and then what do I do with the other end. Is this where I need a converter of some kind?
