This episode we tackle 2 trophy bosses. Rennala who you need to beat to unlock the ability to respec (remembrance also gives you the best staff in the game for pure int mages) and the magma wyrm who is a hidden trophy boss and gives us one of the routes to reach the northern region of altus. Additionally talking to the lady back at the round table next to the two fingers will unlock your third talisman slot after beating Rennala.

You should google what the female bat's are signing. It's latin and she's singing about they were once destined to live normal lives, becoming mothers and raising families in the lush, prosperous world that was the Lands Between. Something happened to disfigure them and now no one answers their cries, leaving them to sing their sad song. You can just sit there for a while and and listen. It's very haunting and a beautiful a touch by the devs.

For those doing this after the latest patch, make sure you go back to where Thops was in the Church of Irith to get the Thops Barrier Ash of War. The one he drops on his body is the sorcery. Theres a shiny beetle ball in the church now that holds the Thops Barrier Ash of War.

During the Renalla fight, you can tell which doll has the aura, based on where the flying books are coming from.

Rennala is def one of my fav “lore” bosses. The first phase is real but after you beat on her for a bit it is actually Ranni the Witch (her daughter) that casts a spell to take over the fight and protect her mothers legacy and make it seem like her mother is still a strong witch. The current Rennala that you were easily beating on is the weak state she is left in after Radagon leaves her. The orange egg thing she is carrying is what she thinks he will be reborn from and come back to her. Ranni is definitely the best character in the game and probably one of the strongest knowing what she can do even without fighting her (her ending is also the best).

On the elevator 17:40 face south while going up (or down) and there's a ledge with a smithing stone (5) use the drop downs the last drop you will take damage but if you've been following the walk-through you'll have the "longtail cat talisman" which removes fall damage (won't save you from lethal falls)

For those that did not get Thops Barrier: Ash of War when he got it (bc of update), after you give the key to our mage boy go rest and go back to the Church of Irith for a newly spawned white scarab to drop it.
