Honestly had given up on this game. I had never played a souls-like game before, and didn't understand the mechanics. Started watching your videos and saw where I had messed up. Decided to give it another shot, and now am I having the time of my life. Just beat Godrick first try with 5 heals left to spare. Thank you cowboy, you are very appreciated.

Also for those who dont know, if your using the Bloodhounds Fang and use Bloodhounds Finesse ability, if you tap your strong attack after the first whirl motion you will do a teleport forward slash! 😊🤙

Man this castle is TOUGH. If you die, you get to start at a Grace, but most of the enemies respawn, so you have to go through them all over again. And oddly enough, I find the knights to be a much bigger pain in the rear end than the biggest beasts or monsters. Godrick was a cinch compared to those two knights you have to face before climbing up the ladder, haha.

I got lost in this castle and didn't know how to progress but now I found the way forward after watching this video. I'm gonna try not to watch too much on my first run because I want to try and explore on my own but it's comforting to know there's a decent guide out there. Thank you!

@10:00 Thats an alternate path to get there from the rooftops. If you follow the rooftops from the grace by the exploding barrel eagles, it eventually lets you drop down behind that knight and exile. It also means you can sneak up on the ballista crew at the front gate from behind without having to burn a stonesword key.
