This episode we do a quick overview of our central hub, Roundtable Hold (excluding the invasion which we'll get to later), clear the castle in mistwood, and take a more in depth look at the melee combat, scaling, and ashes of war. To briefly clarify on the debuff from Fia, you need to use Baldachian's Blessing before death or a world state reset will take the debuff away. If the blessing is still in your inventory, the debuff will persist.

There are a few minor weapons picked up this episode but the only major items of note are our first Whetstone and the Bloody Slash ash of war.

Hey Cowboy I know you said that you wouldn't update the walkthough with patches but at 12:53 you say to kill the npc at Fort Haight if they want a seed. In last patch they added to his quest line where him and Nelphi Loux and the gatekeeper at Stormveil Castle all end up together in the throne room and you are able to buy an Ancient Dragon Smithing stone from the gatekeeper. Just wanted to give you a heads up just in case. That's a really early +25 stone you can get it as soon as you give Loux the hawk ashes.

The best part of this video started around 27:00. When you broke down scaling and two handed weapons, it was eye opening. Definitely have a better understanding of what I need to look for when assessing gear. Thank you.

DO NOT KILL THE NPC, He is tied to a quest line added in patch 1.03. as a good rule of thumb, if Cowboy tells you to kill an NPC, DON'T. since they got added post launch.

One thing for the new players, is when you see a bright light explosion over the head of the enemy you kill, that indicates it has items to loot. Nice feature so you arent wasting time on bodies that have no loot. Love these guides!

Just bought this game like three days ago, I waited because I was waiting for a DLC to drop first. I loaded up the game and immediately noticed the reason why a DLC hasn’t dropped yet, game is enormous. I got lost within 20 minutes after the battle tutorial… but Cowboy saved the day yet again with a super detailed walkthrough. Cheers to you my brother.

How tf for him every enemy has horrible accuracy but for me every enemy has aimbot. That tower at about 8 minutes, took me 13 tries 😭

May want to amend the part around 13:00 where you're talking about Kenneth Haight's questline. You advise that people can kill him if they want for a golden seed, but in 1.03 his questline was extended.

A tip regarding the shining skulls: you can break them by rolling (dodging) while on them. Same with all breakables in the game.

I’m in awe they think people would figure this stuff out organically . Like going between the blacksmith and Maiden 15 times lol I’m super greatful for these tutorials just stressful to follow and play without dying

General tip for parrying. Watch the weapon arm, the moment it starts moving tap parry. Attacks are generally slow to start but fast to hit so you can parry chain attacks as soon as the animation starts
