This episode focused on the western side of Liurnia. While there's no platinum items in this episode we do progress the Nepheli questline and finish the Varre questline. The Varre questline in particular will allow us access to our earliest Sombering 10 upgrade mat and is important in that regard.

21:48 - Edgar invaded me. I joined the walkthrough late and when I circled back to kill the crying Edgar I found the dead daughter but no Edgar. Had some concern being one grape down from everyone else. This invasion remedied that. Love the content, thanks for the work.

Another tip, when you go to the chapel of anticipation don't run backwards to grab the butterflies! The ground will crumble and you'll die and return back at the belfry.

Note - If you hadnt killed Edgar, he would take his revenge and kill everyone who killed his daughter. Their dead bodies with loot on them would be in revengers shack. Once you enter the shack, he would invade you. But you already got his loot so no dramas.

I've been playing video games for most of my life, like I started with pong when it was a stand alone you plugged into the tv. Mostly MMOs, these days but.... I have seldom had an experience as completely satisfying as porting back to the start boss to get revenge. I enjoyed every second of slapping him around the way he did me on day 1. That was worth the price of admission.

theres a grace site directly east of the church of rose kinda hidden on top of one of those broken buildings, near the tree lumps on the map just so you dont have to keep traveling from folly on the lake

For everyone wondering about doing Varre's quest without invading there is a way. You need to head to Writheblood Ruins in the Altus Plateau, once there you'll find a red summon that will start an NPC invasion that satisfies the quest. You can then head straight back to Varre and get the favor to dye.

I know you advised against it for first playthroughs but omg man this game has no directive for new players I spent hours roaming the first area knowing nothing. These walkthroughs have been amazing at seeing everything I can do so I don't miss anything. After this episode imma try and go solo for a bit but ultimately I can't help myself. But thanks to you I beat the crucible knight within my first two days of playing. Great sword gang all the way.
