this is the most important skill I learned/learnt. one summer I volunteered and helped wire a school for the Internet.

Thank you. I needed a quick or temporary fix. AT&T has to come out and rework the wiring because the network jack is pulled from the wall.

I tend to fail with home improvements projects and was surprised once I purchased the punch down tool how easy it was. The first time nothing. Rewind the video to watch you use the tool again and that’s when I heard the click. I was not applying enough pressure. YES! Success. Thank you.

A common recommendation: DO NOT UNTWIST much until your pair/or wire arrives to the slot. (1/4inch at most). You will avoid unstable connectivity. Therefore the more TWIST the more STABLE signals/data arriving to each end.

We will move our patch panel to another location. Do you recommend to reuse those keystones? Or buy new one? Thanks

Are your HDMI keystones unofficially able to pass data/video similar to the newer HDMI 2.0 technology?

First tip is do not untwist the wires so much.  keep the twist up to the idc terminal.
