A quick guide on how to unlock all the characters (survivors) in Risk of Rain 2

back in my day huntress was unlocked by by living past stage three

Quick update for Survivors of the Void dlc that introduces 2 new survivors
- *Railgunner* is unlocked after you buy and download dlc. Automaticly.
- *Void Fiend* unlocks after beating 50 waves in Simulacrum / Escaping the Planetarium as an alternative

If only I could make it to stage 4 AND get abyssal depths to find the plant one. I had the depths ONCE- and died as engineer. Haven’t either lived to stage 3/4 or die to the fuel array, and finally get rng to give me fuel array

If you get to stage 4 and it's not the abyssal depths, do you have to keep trying, or do you just have to go to any stage that's the abyssal depths?

Just got the game a few hours ago and noticed that your lunar coins carried over runs. Does this work in multiplayer or just solo?

What is stage four called again? I keep playing the game to try and unlock Rex over and over again and the stages just will not bring me to the stage with the mortar shooting creatures at all.

I'm so confused. So the past 5 runs that I have done, I never get abyssal depths at stage 4. Hell, I'm not getting abyssal depths at all. Does the robot just spawn at abyssal depths or is it stage 4? Because you specified both so I wasn't sure. I'm assuming it just spawns at abyssal depths and I am probably overthinking but I wanted to make sure.
