The DLC characters were the hardest for me to unlock. it kept spamming the $5.99 attack

I’ve unlocked them up to the ice climbers. Here’s a tip. Once you beat them and they join the battle. Select a map and then press home. Then when you beat another cpu you can unlock a new challenger.

I just did spirit boards and battles.
Something useful to know, after you get one challenger approaching, restart your game if you want to unlock more characters.
Because challenger approaching has a 10 minute cooldown.

the Ryu vs Ken fight escalated very quickly! XD

probably the hardest to clear is king k, because of his heavyweight structure which requires him to be around 150% to kill spike, and his crown and cannonball can combo you really easily as well.

If Waluigi was an unlockable character, here's how:
1. Kill his Assist Trophy 1000 times
2. Play 9000 Smashes

I actually learned that you can use one character and still get all the fighters
