This video is showing you how to fix the "Error while retrieving information from server. DF-DFERH-01" in Google Play Store. Step by step instructions is available in the subtitle.
Preparation:
Download and extract the ZIP file onto your mobile device (if the links are no longer working, let me know)
or
Step by step Instructions:
1) Go to Settings --- Users & Accounts --- Personal --- Google --- "your account"
2) check if your account can still sync correctly (green icon and you should see the timestamp of the last sync)
3) check if your account can still sync correctly (green icon and you should see the timestamp of the last sync). If it is green, move to step 5 directly and skip 4
4)
Plan A: goto “Files”, install and run“01. Googlefier.APK” --- 2nd last option (tool icon), follow the instructions from the app. If this fixes your error already, congrats
5) Goto Apps & Services --- Apps --- search "goo" --- Google Play Services --- Force Stop --- Uninstall
6) Click Google Play Store --- Force Stop (until it is grey and ***NOT*** bouncing back to blue) --- Storage --- Clear Data
7) Return to Search "goo" --- click "4 docks" on the right top corner --- show system processes --- Google Service Framework
8) Force Stop (until it is grey and ***NOT*** bouncing back to blue) --- Storage --- Clear Data
9) Goto Files, install 02...APK
10) this installation takes abit long because it is getting a new required GSF# that we need, please be patient
11) return to home screen and goto Google Play Store
12) The error has been fixed. If you have other errors, please check video description for more infomation.
