Curviloft
This extension is great for creating Skins along frames and other complex sets of lines. When you use it properly, you can make truly amazing shapes within SketchUp.
Joint Push Pull
Ever get the message in SketchUp that you can't push-pull a curved surface? This extension allows you to push pull multiple surfaces at once, push pull round surfaces, and more. This is a great extension for adding thickness to complex objects as well.
Clothworks (Free Version)
Clothworks is a realistic cloth simulation tool. While the full version has some unlockable features, like moveable pins, and different kinds of smoothing, the free version of clothworks does still allow you to simulate cloth and very realistic ways!

Truebend/FredoScale
Last year, I featured FredoScale for its ability to bend objects within SketchUp. This year, I'm still featuring FredoScale, specifically for its radial bend tool, but with a catch - I'm also recommending a new extension from Thom Thom that allows you to bend objects along a 360 degree radius, while FredoScale only bends objects along 180 degrees.

Animator
One of the areas where a base SketchUp installation lacks a bit is in the animation functions. However, this extension, created by Fredo6, allows you to actually animate moving geometry.

Flowify
One of the most powerful extension for SketchUp is flowify, which allows you to bend geometry based on a target shape with 4 corners. This allows for the creation of more complex shapes and objects by using a complex target shape.

Slicer
Slicer allows you to take solid shapes and break them up into different slices, allowing you to make very interesting geometry, but also allows you to export these different slices to a CNC routing machine, helping you create real models from these shapes in real life. Note that shapes for slicer have to be solids, so you may want to use a tool like Solid Inspector to help you create the solid geometry.
FFD
FFD is an extension that allows you to create a "Bounding Box" around a group of geometry, which can then be used to manipulate the geometry within the box. When you move the points on the bounding box, FFD will use those points to deform your shape.
Soap Skin
Soap Skin and Bubble is an extension that allows you to select a frame, create a face along it, then inflate it to create different faces - this is an excellent extension for the creation of shapes like tensile structures, etc.
ThruPaint -
As we move forward, UV Mapping and the placement of materials is becoming more and more important. This extension allows you to really customize the location and mapping of your materials within your SketchUp models.

Hi Justin. I hope you truly appreciate what your work does for us. Not only you take our hands and teach us how to better use Sketchup, but you also research, test, compile and show us fantastic extensions - free or not - that really save us time and hustle. And all this you give us for free. You spread knowledge that makes our work and yes, our lives, ultimately better. You are awesome, and I'm happy to tell you that I've just become a patron. I wish I could contribute more, but I'm not able at this time. Thank you so much for everything. 💚

Your video's helped me out so many times so I really wanted to thank you for it!! I'm really having problems with uv mapping as you mentioned.. As a lot of people are trying out UE4 many encounter mapping issues in ue4 (UV mapping overlap and/or broken lightmaps) I would be really gratefull if you could make a video sometimes about this issue!

Hi Justin, that's a great list of plugins. I hope you could help me with something. I noticed in 1.38 you are extruding a curved surface with vector push pull. Unfortunately, when I try to do this my new face geometry follows the original face, opposing to your new face being "flat". I am trying to extrude some buildings off a curved terrain and they end up having curved ceilings. I hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance, keep up the great work!

Great video - really useful as always :) Clothworks was a cool one as well as soap skin - all good choices.. I clicked on here looking for an animator tool, is there any way to get a rendered animation.. Also, any ideas about ow I can create a walk around within a model (ie - if I have designed a building can I allow a client to use arrow keys and mouse to navigate around it? Thanks!
