So you want to build a solid investment portfolio made up of all ETFs that are not only going to make you money but save you money by not having to pay insanely high fees to an advisor that will most likely end up costing you hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost returns.

But the question is, how do you actually put one together, from scratch, and feel comfortable with your decisions?

I’m this video, I’m going to walk you through the steps of how to create an all ETF portfolio for yourself that you can use in something like your Roth IRA or Taxable Investment accounts. I’ll also give you a few example portfolios during this video to help give you a starting point.

If you need help then contact a Certified Financial Fiduciary before trying anything that is mentioned in this video. I prefer a Fiduciary financial advisor that charges an hourly fee as opposed to an ongoing fee based on a % of your portfolio. Always remember that incentives determine the type of advice they give you so one that charges an hourly fee is less likely to be problematic.

Great topic! Definitely agree that risk is not discussed enough when it comes to investing. Wall Street bets style seems to be the hot thing right now.

Someday maybe you can do a video on the outcome and the ramifications of owning for instance a stock that grows 4% and pays a 3% dividend versus a stock with no dividend that grows 7%. 🤔 Is it the same like it seems on the surface?

What do you recommend for someone who wants to invest long term for aggressive growth with ETFs and wants exposure to all major emerging markets & all major disruptive innovation & all major disruptive industries. I am having a hard time keeping the total number of ETFs to a minimum because they are missing a large number of industries. And I don’t want to have too many ETFs either

What’s your opinion on fidelity new zero fee funds and ETFs . I’m retiring from a nyc job in 15 years and will have a pension, 401k and 457 and house paid off. Now I’m starting my own portfolio and was looking at starting with $15, 000 and contributing $250 a month into a fidelity zero full stock market and international fund/etf. I have done research and I’m hearing great things about them. What’s your opinion on allocation and fidelity zero funds ? Ty

I get that U.S. ETF's are a great option if you live in the U.S. but as a Canadian I have to pay fees or premium subscriptions to own those ETF's. Any way around this?

LOVE your style. I would love to see someone talk about the ideal setup for someone that just turned 40 and realized "Oh, shit I have not done anything yet". I think this is more common than people think (as me how I know, lol). So, clearly an IRA is where I would want to start (self employed) and I hate taxes. A solo 401k seems too complex for me. I setup a Roth already and just dropped the $6k max in for 2022. I put it all on VOO (for now). I plan on dropping another $6.5k (2023 max) in right after the new year so compounding can start asap. From there, I am sure I will just dollar cost average, but at least I am starting with a good amount up front and the market is pretty low now. I figure if I need more money, I can just use my standard (taxable) brokage account for more investments, to go beyond the limit of the IRA (tho will be taxed). So, in addition to VOO, I am overwhelmed with what to do. I want to grow as much as I can, as I am running out of time, yet I dont want to loose LOL. But, yeah I am looking at 25 years of staying invested.

Is it better to do on your own or financial advisor. I can set up my own, but this financial advisor convinced me not to, but now I am skeptical. Any advice? because I think he charging me too much for expenses, the FA is from Edward Jones.

Great video, thanks. Please explain why growth ETFs/stocks usually have higher return long term than dividend ETFs/stocks. Let’s assume that dividends are re-invested using DRIPs. Is this common consensus among experts?

Dude can you do a video on your whole portfolio allocation and go into detail why you picked it. Certain geopolitical factors influencing it and how you may change it in future?
