His arms and legs not working doesn't make him any harder to love.

He's disabled yes, but he is not any less. It's a part of him, but it's not a defining characteristic.

Her love for him isn't saintly, it's human.

My husband was severely disabled from a massive stroke when we married. I guess I did a lot to help him physically, but I didn’t see it that way. When you are so in love, you do everything you can for each other. That can take many forms. ❤

I'm reading comment after comment praising her like she's a saint, saying she's an angel, talking about how she cares for him. Yes, her love for him is wonderful to see, but his love for her is also wonderful to see... I'm disabled and people say all these things about my husband. It makes him really angry. He reminds them that I take care of him too, and that he's as lucky to have found me as I am to have found him. He's not a saint. Being my husband is not some kind of act of charity, or a "get into Heaven" card. He's a man who loves his wife, just as his wife loves him.
