Agree with Amanda Dude, straightforward, concise, clear approach to explaining how the formula works. For future instructors developing instruction tools, intro commentary that explains how Excel formulas i.e. SUMIF et al are used and applied in data analytics for business or social science is useful. Otherwise an extended commentary detracts from the real focus of instructional videos. Thx so much for sharing this Excel tool aid. :-)

THANK YOU SO I had a major issue trying to use vlookup for a value on another sheet out of a list of values, but it would only return one result and not all matches. I wanted it to match every result. Everyone on every website on Google said to use vlookup inside of sumif. I spent about 2 hours trying to figure that out. I came to this video and realized that I DO NOT NEED VLOOKUP! I was able to reference a value to the left in the same row and use that to search a separate sheet. Formula ended up being this =SUMIF(outage!B2:B400, OFFSET(INDIRECT(ADDRESS(ROW(), COLUMN())), 0, -5), outage!E2:E400) .. So thankful for this video.
