For me I only experience deja vu from dreams I've had. I'll just dream having a slecific conversation with somebody and it ends up happening. I don't believe in dreams telling the future or anything it's just weird it keeps happening for me.

Not buying this completely. Not when you actually remember a scenarios with people and things said that you find yourself repeating.

I get this with conversations every so often. It's such a weird sensation... I could swear the exact conversation already happened, word for word, action for action. Maybe it's not a brain glitch. Maybe it's a glitch in the matrix?

My deja vu comes when I’ve dreamed of something and it comes to pass.

OK.... So why do I know what happens next? I have told my husband what will come next, that is not miss remembering an event

This happens to me a lot and it comes true. I’ll feel like I’ve been somewhere or something has happened before and then it actually happens later on in life. It’s happened all my life here on earth.

The hypothesis is wrong in my opinion. As someone who experiences intense dejavu on a regular basis I can attest that it is something completely different than a brain glitch.

My brain recognizes patterns so when I feel de ja vu, I can recognize this as a similar pattern of behavior or experience.

For me when it happens i know whats going to happen. Like i know the words someone is going to say to me or a thing thats going to happen happens . Its never a thing that i feel happens before its always i know the future. Very scary for me

Mine comes from dreams. When it happens it’s always something happening that’s happened in a dream

This actually happens to me occasionally, either ways, I wanted to say that you look really pretty ❤

I've only experienced deja vu while awake & NOT because of any dreams I have had. It's a feeling that washes over me and I believe in it. 📌Science is only "guessing" - the words, "it's believed" means they can not say for certain either. 😌

"A glitch in the system" is not really a good explanation.

Do the people who experience this regularly remember their dreams? What if it's related to dreaming?

Wow, I feel like I've already heard her say this before!😂😂😂

Dr Tracey, I know what you mean, but sometimes, well, actually, many times, when I have a deja vu, I have "images" of that particular moment/conversation. And I know I have them already in my mind. It's more than the feeling. It's actually a physical memory, images and sounds. I can't understand why I have them, but I'm sure I already dreamt or thought in the past.
I did hit hard my head when I was a kid so maybe some parts of my brains are messed up, but beside having a short memory I don't have any other particular problem.

I've had DV and precognitive dreams. Because I set out to disprove my pcn dreams I'm able to discern the difference. I've documented pcn events, and as a materialist, this causes anxiety when they happen so i take measures to avoid them. I can only assume time is not linear. But what's really upsetting, is being dismissed by science bc they have no idea what is like

Mine are dreams I've had, then it happens

So now I’m wondering about that different hypothesis for people with illnesses and disorders, and why they experience déjà vu?

There is the opposite which is called jamais vu. This is the experience of being unfamiliar with a person or situation that is very familiar
