ahh! blindsight would be the most terrifying thing… imagine getting subconsciously scared by something threatening but not actually being able to see it.

The craziest about the twitching body feeling is the fact the brain always sends a virtual image a fraction of a second before it happens, it's like you're starting to dream, on a bike or a ladder all of the sudden you're falling and the twitch occurs

When I was 12, I had Deja vu for the first time. I had it once a week for about a month. I remember one of the times I had it when I had dreamt that I was working on some schoolwork and my teacher picked up a pencil from off the floor in front of me and then it happened in real life. Now, I consider myself a very smart person and I didn’t know exactly what Deja vu was, so I thought I was so smart that I had some kind of Raven’s Home future telling powers. This made me really scared so I told my three best friends at a pool party. I was so scared that I started crying but that’s when I learned about Deja vu. Love that story! 😅

I once had déjà vu inside déjà vu. I was like “hey haven’t I had this conversation before” and then “hey haven’t I had déjà vu about this conversation before”

I remember first having Deja Vu when I was like 5 or 6... and I had no idea what it was and the experience where it happened was we were going home, my younger brother was riding his bike from the park, and we were following him (safely) in the car. And we had to let him cross the street and I thought...”huh... I feel like this has happened before”

And the *most godforsaken way I described this to my parents must have confused the actual life out of them*
I said;
“Hey, this has happened before in my past life I think
I remember it. Yea! Or it was a dream... but haven’t we done this before?”

The udder silence I received bruv

that hypnogogic jerk thing has actually happened to me very often, although while many people feel like they're falling, I feel like I'm coming down stairs, and I suddenly trip.

HELLO, to the creator, VSAUCE. My husband and I are HUGE FANS! I’ve never seen this video until 11 years later, BUT I wanted to mention how grateful I am for this video BECAUSE, my Grammy’s birthday is coming up on 2/22/23. She passed away in 2019 and I miss she and my grandpa so much. ANYWAY, the article you found about Déjà Vu is actually MY GRAMMY!! Her name is Patricia Shapiro and her husband, Don is my grandpa. He passed away in August of 2022, right before his bday on the 22nd of August. In the article, my mum, Susan and my aunt, Allie are in the article also. SO, I just wanted to say THANK YOU because I haven’t been able to find this article in a long time and now I have the resources from your video. I can’t believe this is the article you used!! I’m so grateful!! Thank you so much!! With love, from Millis, MA.

PS,
My brother is the meme, Scumbag Steve ;)

Sleep Paralysis is no frikken joke! It is SUPER terrifying. The most raw, pure, strong sense of terror I've ever felt. And I've seen some stuff "IRL". I'm a combat veteran, been shot at, all the things...but by far the purest terror I've ever felt is from sleep paralysis. Like a short circuit directly to "terror" in your brain. And I didnt even have the scary hallucinations, I cant even imagine that. I legitimately thought I was having a stroke. I wouldnt wish that on anyone.
