Loving the series so far, I would recommend getting hard drives early, some of them are really good and one will help with your power problem. With the slugs there are 16 different slugs to get. Also you can add multiple incubator modules to each hatchery to increase the speed of them

The metal melting and smelting is another part that so far seems quite inspired by Angel's mods, specifically Angel's Smelting. That also features a path of processing ores to melt and cast them into plates (which are used in factorio how ingots are in satisfactory). If it's gonna work similarly, you will want space for additional future logistics and routing more ingredients into the smelting factory.

One thing common to Angel's mods in general is upgrades being more complicated but more efficient. For instance, in Angel's Smelting, tier 1 lead processing has you take 12 lead ore, smelt with some oxygen to sulfur dioxide and 12 lead ingots (again, factorio uses plates, so not the same purpose), then melt the ingots to 120 molten lead, then cast to 12 lead plates. Pretty simple. On the other hand, the tier 3 process has you take 4 lead ore, process it to 3 processed lead, then press it into 4 lead pellets, then combine 8 lead pellets, 2 limestone, 2 charcoal, and 60 oxygen gas to make 24 lead anodes and 60 sulfur dioxide, combine 30 hydrofluoric acid (a whole other factory's worth of work, comes from either base resource processing or oil sideproducts) and 3 silicon ore to make 60 hexafluorosilicic acid, and combine 20 hexafluorosilicic acid with 12 lead anodes to make 12 lead ingots and 1 slag, then melt those lead ingots into 120 molten lead, combine 140 molten lead with 40 coolant to make 4 lead sheet coils and 40 used coolant, then cut each lead sheet coil into 4 plates each. While much more complicated, this results in a 7:24 ratio instead of 1:1

Edit: Remembered the latest run I'm doing is randomized, so I had to stop and boot my seablock run to get the actual numbers lmao

Tier 3 starts with molten metals. This is when this mod will start shinning truly. You take the ores, molten them and process them to get even more ingots than the basic ore->smelter process. I advice you to have dedicated buildings/platforms per metal/ore (and even per process step (ores, liquids, smelters, etc). Your starting base it way too compact to expand. Plus, you are getting close to steel heads for the miners that will produce even more ore than the basic drill. And various other researches in tiers 3/4 will affect your production lines and outputs. And water... be prepared to bring to your base a good amount of water (and manage new liquid byproducts also).
And slugs, if i recall from v0.7, there were about 10-15 different colors. So, if you plan to fully explore these buggers, you will need something like 1000x the area of your current base (slugs + farming included). Focus on the simple blue ones, to get the 200 whites you need for the MAM and ignore the other colors for now.
Dont forget to convert the blue battery-like byproducts from the farms to biofuel to feed more boilers. You can reach 6-10MW of energy easily at your current level/research/tier.

nice video! im still upset by the sorter not lining up with 2 crushers, its so frustrating lol. I really like your idea of taking the satmonium copper to make the bronze, well done!

EDIT: im surprised your having crashes. ive never had an issue.

@25.13 careful with water in boiler. Its not 22/min per boiler. Its 22.5. Consult the in-game wiki for proper consumption. Boiler building is bugged and not allow decimals to appear on its consumption screen (at least in v0.7 of satisfactory plus)

yeah starting to look good but you are still way off from having properly set the breeding program for the snails... and you still havent even started to process the stuff...
well anyways good luck with the molten stuff...
